The event at Trocadero’s last night was feautured Cadillac Kolstad among others. A good start to an event that has attracted an astonishing 3,000 attendees.
In conjunction with the ongoing Journalism That Matters/New Pamphleteers conference and the National Conference for Media Reform, there’s a big shindig tonight at Trocadero’s.
Hosted by the Twin Cities Daily Planet and KFAI, the Party for a Media Revolution will start at 8:00pm and feature a whole bunch of hot local music acts (International Reggae All Stars, Cadillac Kolstad and the Flats, Willie Murphy and the Angel Headed Hipsters, Dan Newton, Spider John Koerner, and more).
Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
Somewhere between the 90 or so folks at the JTM conference and the 3000 people expected for NCMR, it should be a rockin’ good time, for a good cause.
