Amid growing awareness of the environmental impact of bottled water a group has emerged who will preach the benefits of H2O independence:
Mark DiMassimo, creative director of marketing shop DiMassimo Goldstein, and Eric Yaverbaum, president of public relations agency Ericho Communications, are planning to deliver 1 million used water bottles stuffed with messages to Mr. Kent as part of an awareness campaign they call Tappening. The campaign aims to encourage consumption of tap water, as well as get consumers to buy reusable bottles emblazoned with messages including “Think Global. Drink Local.”

This guy Yaverbaum is something else. He’s got some “forumla”. Anyone know what happened to him the last couple of years? WItness Protection Program? He was in the news for the most brilliant creative programs I’d seen in my storied career on a regular basis but seemed to drop off the map in hiding for a couple of years. I saw him speak a decade ago and was just in absolute awe of his stories. It was like a movie I didn’t want to end. So where did the guy go? And so amused to see him back? Not sure who DIMassimo is, but he’s got to be brilliant if Yaverbaum partners with him. Gotta go check him out. Yaverbaum and DiMassimo are now on my google alerts! So cool. So smart. So admirable. I guess instead of seling water with vitamins in it and clothes for H&M (which was the last I read of him), Yaverbaum grew up and is using his talents to make the world a better place. Bravo! And Kudo’s to you Mr. DiMassimo. You’ll be on everyone’s radar now! Good luck guys! Like you need it!
